Back 40 Beard Butter By Jack’d Up
Where the pavement ends and the real work begins. Back 40 is a scent for the man who isn't afraid of the thicket. Inspired by the furthest reaches of the property—the rough acreage where the timber is dense and the dirt is honest—this conditioning butter is a green, woody powerhouse. It’s designed for the man who is more comfortable in a tree stand or a tractor seat than a desk chair.
While our oil provides the base, this Beard Butter adds a layer of deep conditioning and light control, acting as a "leave-in mask" that keeps your beard soft and manageable through the toughest shifts.
This blend is wild, unrefined, and deeply rooted in the outdoors:
-
Top Notes | Wild Cypress: A crisp, resinous "snap" of evergreen that hits like a cold wind through the treeline.
-
Heart Notes | Tobacco Leaf & Vetiver: The gritty soul of the scent—earthy, smoky, and raw, smelling like cured leaf and damp, tangled roots.
-
Base Notes | Sandalwood & Ambergris: A heavy, lingering finish of creamy timber and a salty, skin-like musk that feels as natural as sweat and sun.
When you’re working the back 40, you’re dealing with wind-burn, brush, and sweat. Your beard needs a layer of armor that can keep up:
-
Deep-Conditioning Barrier: Our butter formula locks moisture into the hair shaft, preventing your beard from becoming brittle and "scrubby" in the elements.
-
Tames the Wild: Specifically formulated to lay down flyaways and "bed-beard," giving you a groomed look even if you’ve been under a hat all day.
-
Scent Longevity: Because Vetiver and Sandalwood are heavy base notes, the scent doesn't evaporate; it clings to the butter-infused hair, getting better as the day gets hotter.
The Maker's Note
We named this Back 40 because it’s not for the "front porch" crowd. It’s for the man who actually goes out there and gets his boots muddy. If you want to smell like the woods you work in, this is your butter.
How to Use
Scoop a small amount and warm it between your palms until it reaches a creamy consistency. Apply to a clean, damp beard, working it down to the skin to keep the face itch-free when you're working in the dust.
